ABOUT US
AGENCIA MARITIMA NABSA S.A. is an independent, privately-owned shipping organization, which since its first days in June 1987 has grown constantly and steadily.
Our spirit is "a persistent drive to take on challenges with creativity and intelligence". This has enabled us to expand a service network throughout Argentina in a relatively short span of time and to earn an excellent reputation amongst our local and international customers.
We face the future with great confidence in the continued amelioration of all our business, by having our management and staff expertise, knowledge and dedication, strategically focused on our clients' ever changing requirements.
OUR BACKGROUND
AGENCIA MARITIMA NABSA S.A. multi-lingual staff is our most important asset as our commitment in customer service with a fast vessel turnaround, is our principal aim.
Our own modernly furnished head office of over 750m2, is located close to the commercial and banking district of Buenos Aires.
Our agency related services, cover all Argentine and Uruguayan ports either using our own branch offices in San Lorenzo, Rosario and Campana or carefully selected sub-agents.
We are proud to mention our active participation in the competitive chartering market where our brokers are regularly fixing grains, by-products, minerals, steels, general cargoes and others.
We are members to BIMCO - Copenhagen, Denmark, since june 1988
We are subscribed with ITIC (International Transport Intermediaries Club co. ltd. Of London). The insurance fully covers us for professional liability-full errors and omissions.
We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and FONASBA quality standard certified.
We are members of ‘MACN’ (Maritime Anti-Corruption Network) since mid 2020.

Whilst achieving this target, we comply at all times with regulations and legal conditions in force, including but not limited to ISO 9001-2015 quality standards. This allows us to better understand and continue to improve our quality standard policy.
Furthermore, our personnel is continuously trained in order to professionally comply with the so very important and constantly demanding needs of our clients.
OUR OFFICES

The Autonomous District of Buenos Aires is the capital of the Republic of Argentina. Also known as the "Capital Federal" (Federal District) covers a surface area of 202 square km and is inhabited by more than 3 million people.
Buenos Aires is bathed by the Río de la Plata (River Plate) on the East, it borders on the famous Riachuelo to the South, whereas the rest of the metropolitan perimeter is outlined by the beltway known as General Paz Avenue, which fringes the city from North to West. The city is the international, regional and inland transportation base.
Buenos Aires City is the seat of the National Government, and Argentina’s financial, industrial, commercial and tourist center.
The official language of Buenos Aires and all Argentina is Spanish, and many people uses English as a second language.
Port general description: Buenos Aires is Argentina's chief port. The port is situated on the right hand of the River Plate and all river distances are calculated from this point (km 0).
Our Head-Office is located in Av. Paseo Colón 728, in the commercial area of San Telmo and Puerto Madero districts.
Opened on June 1st 1987, this office is the base of general management, operations and finance. With its skilled staff of 90 people, this office supervises our three branches.

BRANCH OFFICE SAN LORENZO
San Lorenzo and San Martin, together with other smaller towns, constitute the northern area of Greater Rosario. With over 200.000 inhabitants, this area has important industrial plants, especially agro-industrial, chemical, petrochemical and oil. This area, like Rosario, is connected with an excellent road and railway (standard and broad gauge) network in all directions. The Rosario and Rosario-Santa Fe highways by-pass the urban areas and allow a swift approach without mixing with local traffic.
Port general description: San Lorenzo and Puerto San Martín, commonly referred to in shipping circles as San Lorenzo, have modern terminals for exporting grain, agricultural by products and vegoil.
Our office is located in Cayetano Nerbutti 248, Puerto General San Martín. Opened on May 1st 1991 this mainly operational office ensures the skills of this dynamic team of 10 people, under the general management of our Buenos Aires Head Office.

BRANCH OFFICE ROSARIO
The City of Rosario, the second center in the country considering population and economy, is located in the SE of the province of Santa Fe, on the right bank of the Paraná River. This city is 150km S from the province's capital, the City of Santa Fé and 300km from the City of Buenos Aires, the Federal District of the Republic of Argentina.
The Port of Rosario is in the center of the Bioceanic Corridor, which links Rosario with the Pacific Ocean (via Cordoba/Cuyo - Valparaiso) and the Atlantic Ocean through the Paraná/Paraguay Waterway.
Our office is located at Buenos Aires 605, at the corner of Avda Belgrano, two blocks from the Flag's Monument. Opened on January 1st 1999, this mainly operational office ensures the skills of this dynamic team of 6 people, under the general management of our Buenos Aires Head Office.

BRANCH OFFICE CAMPANA
The City of Campana, main City of the District, in the Province of Buenos Aires, is located 75 km northbound from the City of Buenos Aires (Federal District of the Republic of Argentina) on the right margin of the Parana de las Palmas River.
Our office is located at Cristóbal Colón 339 in the main commercial and administrative area of the City. Opened on February 9th 2004, this mainly operational office ensures the skills of this dynamic team in the Paraná de las Palmas Área, under the general management of our Buenos Aires Head Office.
